Rod knock does not "Go Away" ... could be the timing chain. The SOHC has an issue with the plastic timing chain guide thing ... it can break and you get that sound. I would recommend pulling off the head cover and look down at the timing chain... I bet you see where it's loose and slapping the...

Owned. Don't worry, you're not the first or last to screw their suspension doing something stupid. Understeer is crap though.. I think you need better tires in the front because you should have been able to correct.. Did you hit the ebrake when you started to understeer?

Remember when I hit that log in Opa Locka... I took out my entire suspension on the passenger side. ahh the memories.
