a pin doesn't make a difference in the design if your force is normal to the pin. its not an up and down movement on the towers, it's a inward movement. Im sure tanabe and cusco has engineers designing these.
shit's real easy. make sure u get a manual for all the clearances, torque settings, order of torqueing, and then lube every moving part. read up online and books how to do it.
helmets are not cheap and they are ruined if you get in an accident and get cracked. snell 95 is snell standards from 1995. you have 15 years of used helmets you could buy.
