Yeah, I'd love to say i thought of something original but that trick's been around for years, heard about it first from my DSM friends. Note, using hairspray may promote crankwalk, use at your own risk.

yeah hairspray works great to keep couplers on. had to spray all of them on my suby at 24psi only way to keep them from blowing off or leaking

HAHAHA hairspray ftw...as a kid we used to spray that on our handlebars for the grips to stick!
