Tonymac said:I don't think the 1/4 of a second it takes to stomp the clutch equates to lift.

i was told not to do any kind of manji entry because it slows you down too much
but i got 58mph entry.. wasnt the fastest one like 60ish
i do understand how its harder to gauge what kind of speed you need to just do a feint (no opp lock)
entry... i dont know.. i dont see why people hate manji entry so much.. on my first three runs i did a small manji entry with no brakes at 58..
but doing what you want and doing what the judges like i guess is what seperates street from pro
POLE-POSITION said:I totally agree with Funk on this one also. D1 they manji and they Ebrake a shit load but at really high speeds. then here they hate on both styles.

its like skateboarding, everybody doesnt skate the same.
what the fuck is wrong with originality?
conformed drifting = lame

mikespeed95 said:imo perfect fun entry is grip feint then clutch kick, and from that point either full throttle or ebrake etend tillthe corner.
rwdrift said:Unless you are doing a massively early entry that by no means could be done otherwise, the use of the ebrake does not equate for nearly as long as you make it sound. I am a frequent ebrake user and I never keep my hand still on the ebrake.... pull up, drop down, continue.
