Im not exactly sure, I just took a quick look at the layout, I think it was basically 3 steady radius turns, LEFT LEFT RIGHT, and the first one had a large radius, but that doesnt make sense in my head because you can get an easy 150mph down that straight and people will be trying to turn into that first left at like 90mph+ and going off hardcore.... SHIT, just realized I am thinking of it backwards versus the way the cars run it. Well for those who dont know, when we drift from the drag strip, thats the direction motorcycles run the course, so from old drag strip, left-left-right. But cars have always raced the track clockwise, to the series was (left-right-right-dragstrip...)

I will check back and remember it in more detail. I told them they should fill in the lake out back and we can work on a fun drift layout inside of the back section of the roadcourse, and the girl was like "here's the drift area" pointing toward the new skidpad (600x300ft I think). I just smiled and said 'I'm not sure that's gonna work for 90mph entries...'
 
Uhhh no. Skidpad is for the beginners bitch! We are tearing the road course a new one....again.....BITCH!

That's what I would have told her.
 
they doubled the size of the skid pad which should be dope cause more speed means itll be easier for people to step up to the road course

I dont see much diffrence between the two tracks.They both could pass for drag strips the red one just looks like it takes longer to get back to the starting line.

The only thing that was fun about moroso was the high speed entry coming off the dragstrip that sent you into a baller high speed switchback. By what i see is now another straightaway.It looks like whoever designed the new track was the same guy who designed the mid eightys camaro.All you need is a ruler.Forget drag racing and road racing by the looks of it there gonna be able to hold five drag races at once.:bigthumbu

I know you guys are used to the old layout, but the new layout looks fine, look at it with new eyes. You guys want to keep the same old northbound run into a left, with a weight shift right, back hard left. Which looked fun as shit don't get me wrong.

But look at the new southern portion, still a long straight, into a linkable left, right, right. You guys see your high speed entires going away, I see skills being developed. Seriously, what good is a 200mph straight into an Irwindale bank going to do for the sport besides give drivers a means to kill themselves? D1 guys run fast as shit at Autopolis and it's completely flat. I really like the new southern portion, I also like the updated middle, it could probably run from either direction, for different experiences and be fun both ways.

Moroso doesn't dictate what sections are used for events, we do. Once completed the track is going to be a blank canvas for drivers. I'm SUPER excited, because all you guys that are from here got a HUGE jump on me as far as the course is concerned. NOW, everyone gets to start from scratch :D

Now see thats what we need here in america is Road courses with consecutive corners not this Corner.... big straight..... corner..... big straight
