Moroso is Tore up!

best track in terms of the people from moroso liking us and helping us out but i think homestead would be more fun to slide
 
It takes upwards of 6 months for fresh pavement to cure. Thats why they had to wait so long at the new Englishtown track up in Jersey. It was actually done last year before formula d went to wall but they had to let the pavement cure. Hopefully they don't rush it, cause if they do it will deteriorate a-lot faster.

according to NJ locals...englishtown has been done for years (i heard 4+) but there track is regulated by the township and they didnt pull the permits to build it so the township was like, you cant use it.... blah blah.... its just been sitting there. there are parts that need repaved in the back section now since no use/standing water ruined it.
 
I was there yesterday and snapped some pics. I'll post some soon. The road course is completley flat and the drag strip is a lake.

Imagine the road course like it was before.... now Imagine NONE OF IT EXISTS. The entire thing is dirt, completley flattened out dirt. Theres not even that swamp lake thing in the middle of the track anymore, it's just a huge dirt field. It's going to be all new everything.
 
man im not gonna be here when it opens, I probly wont get to drive on it for about 2 years atleast :(

Saw the plans 2 wks ago, it was something like the pic above, blue (purple??) is dragstrip, red is roadcourse. Also new skidpad will be twice the size.
 
I kinda like the new setup, although it's not much different. I also like the section under the dragstrip for an intermediate course.
 
if you do check the link the guy that takes them said he is going back every friday and taking pics till its done
 
if that is accurate = thumbs down.

1->2->3 is now a 1->manji->2... not to mention 1 is really sharp

the old big sweeper looks like might be a manji needed to link too...

I hope the layout is tweaked/different from that line.

we will see.
