im sorry for having to ask this question.. but what type of helmet do you need to be in these events? thanks

snell rated full face or open face helmet (look really gay) you can get one from walmart or pep boys for under a hundred bucks. I got mine on ebay for $20. -SAS

Yes. A nice Manual Tire changer is usually present you get a nice workout between runs
