I do give nissan 1 thing their cars are legos. And that's awesome for building a budget car.

3 seat belt computers and 3 fuse boxes ftw.

Ka7 good chatting

beemer owners remind me soooo much of mac owners.....anyone on here go on maddox.. you know wut im talking

"They regurgitate lines directly from Apple's marketing campaign, like "it just works." "

just this time its..."the ultimate driving machine"......maybe if u drove it in reverse into ur ass.....its not like i dont like nissan or bmw.....but its seriously ridiculous to say bmw makes GOOD cars now.....

an m coupe isnt an f1 car.....and nissan....well....doesnt have one...lol...

e30gansta lost his mind relating a 2j to anything nissan has ever put out ...thats ridiculous....lol

but bmw's like fall apart and shit.....and for u guys talking about how much maintenace is...u fools....didnt u guys hear queermo....theyre the ultimate driving machines....they dont need service...theyre just that good...

Hes talking about the f20. most hp per liter 4 stroke piston production piston engine.

rotary is also up there but they are different designs.

Btw fyi to everyone 2j > all when speaking to m4nfred.

The challenge he gave me find a 6 second powered car with a production motor thats faster than a 2j. Ie. rb sr, s50 s38 , 3sgte, 454 chevy etc etc. Pretty good challenge i may say.

Fyi manny i own 2 macs :)

And maintenance who does that? Surely not the toyota owners with no brakes and a f20.

j.k. dude lol

i cant believe ya'll watch this video and honestly say BMW 1 Nissan 0
if i had my car there or a properly set up s-chassis it would be BMW 0 Nissan 1, its like comparing a ford focus to a audi s4
u cant even compare both cars to each other. that s14 wasnt even set up correctly. and i dont even want to start with the BMW, i might make someone really angry.

both cars and drivers were horribly displayed

Comparing 2 RWD turbo cars to each other is like comparing a FWD econobox to an AWD supersedan? Now that's truly ridiculous.....

And set up?? Pardon me but I dont think any of us have x-ray vision on here. Why don't you share the setup of the S14?? From what I can tell, the only thing he needs is a LSD, or a something better than a blown VLSD.....

Talk smack on BMW all you want though, you cant take away the IMSA trophies, ALMS trophies, BTCC trophies, SCCA, F1, FIA GT, WTCC, ETCC, TOCA, Australian Touring CC, Asian Touring CC, USRRC, USTCC, GT3, GT2, LMP1...... +dozens more

An that's just off the top of my head. And I don't know that because of owning a BMW, I know that because I love racing. And I own a BMW BECAUSE of my love for racing.

This thread didn't start as a BMW vs Nissan thread though so I'm not really trying to make it that.

It just as well could have been a cluless guy in a open diff 328 and then a Skyline GT-S and it would have been the opposite. Your comments were just silly and show way too much bias to Nissan. Anyone should experience both before trying to trash one.

I think a lot of you guys on here think bad of BMW's because Harri's 535i broke quite a few times back in the day. What people never remember is that Harri took a 200,000mile STOCK BMW engine and boosted the living shit out of it and drove the wheels off of it. That engine finally died December 4th 2004 after seeing over 30psi many times when the HKS boost controller decided to take a cigarette break. So what did we do? We installed another engine in less than 12 hours so Harri could take sponsors for rides the next day. But someone installed the thermostat backwards( I know who it was, but he didn't know any better and was a HUGE help that night swapping the engine). The 'new' engine had something like 150,000miles on it...... Well the car overheated like crazy the next day, but Harri kept beating on it all day long anyway and the next week we took the head off and sent it to be ported and machined..... the porting guy messed up and hit a water passage but never told anyone. That head lasted maybe 2-3 events before becoming a problem and dropping so much water in the motor that it bent a rod. Swapped some rods, still on block number 2, still tock BMW pistons, rods and head with a cam, headgasket and mild porting.... This motor broke some rocker arms in Lousiana with Hannu driving and probably revving to about 35,000million RPM.... so the rocker arms were replaced with more stock ones, and reinforcement was welded in them.... then the car went to the 2006 IRL demo in St. Pete and hotlapping became an issue with the stock radiator.... car overheated pretty bad, massive blowby... turns out detonation killed ring lands on think 3-4 pistons.... and caused some cylinder scoring... So now for block number3 (a BMW 635 engine with 180,000miles) and this one lasted through the end of 2006. Early '07 Harri finally had some money to spend on the car and since the engine needed a new cam (old cam torn up by bad installation), he just decided to rebuild the whole thing with aftermarket parts. It is still on block3 I think making over 700hp and 700lb-ft at roughly 20psi with built internals. The motor has seen over 30psi surges, and the only issue has been cometic gaskets cant seal properly so we went back to old turboF1 style 'cutting ring' gaskets. With the big power and strong valve springs the rockers became a problem again in California so the head has aftermarket rockers now. Only problem now is the car make so much torque and the 3plate tilton clutch engages so hard that she likes to break halfshafts, but you guys can call me when 240sx parts hold that power and torque...

Oh and it will be on the New York Times front page when a KA or any other NA Nissan engine holds 20psi.....

its TRUE and EVERYONE knows it!!! Toyota is owning everything. When lexus makes the ISF COUPE and really put it on paper tis goign to be hard for that 20or so year BMW r and d compared to the LEXUS 1 year r and d!!

BTW nissan sucks ever since carlos ghoson took over.

maybe you should get a better mechanic so then your "points of not breaking down" will be better.
btw nissans dont need 700hp our cars are lighter. not to mention we have a smaller motor, but our drivetrain still holds good weirdly. With hoe many nissan are drifting for events how many do you see break down? 1,2 maybe 3? thats all i see, and thats with 80%nissan line up. my 164K mile ka is still holding good good compression and have been drifting with it for 4-5years? yea i woudl say its reliable, not to mention im not the only one.
