first of all your best mod is going to be a daily driver...buy a 800 dollar civic or corolla or something to get you around in case your working on your car,break something, or just dont want to drive around in a stiff, loud, hot etc. car which gets attention from police all the time..Trust me...

i have no experience with either. just some info tho...i bought a circuit sports short hub and nrg 2.0 qr for about 140 id say you could get the hub but i would doubt on the quick release...a guy i know has a shorty quick release and it does have slight play and ive heard that the shorty ones...
