Mine got better when I put in some subframe spacers, but since I need new diff bushings too I still get that clunk.

My car does that. Subframe bushings/diff bushings. more of a clunk....or could be backfire?

When I did my manual swap on my s14 I used a '92 5spd (thats what the shop I bought it from sent me) It bolted up and worked fine.

I don't think loose would make a difference, but iirc you have to install it a certain way and if you don't do that then it doesn't work right...of course a bunch of ppl don't even run thermostats...but anyway. hopefully one of the more knowledgeable ppl will chime in soon. With the hole I had...

Mine used to do that. There was a small hole in one of the hoses. Then, it did it again, the radiator cap wasn't sealing properly. A few weeks later it did it again, this time it was the thermostat, course it may have been that the whole time too...hope that helps...

I think the real problem that needs to be worked out is that it takes more energy to create the radio waves than is released. At least that was the problem when this was first done.
