Idk, if my friend was helping me and he messed up like that I wouldn't blame him or anything like that. What kind of friends would you be if you went on a rampage every time one messed up by accident. Im sure the dude feels bad and has already offered to help and stuff.
Also don't give up on the car, this is all a learning experience. Drink a couple of beers and enjoy the headaches life throws at you.

I tryed using 10 zip ties attached to eachother around the whole engine to keep the bolt on the block, but they melted :/
yes. i did it with the engine still in the car.
the drillbit was too long though , so we actually cut it to make it shorter , but we didnt have to tilt the motor or anything, just dont rush it , make sure you got all the right tools/sizes.
i actually grabbed one of those foam "ear plugs" and shoved it into the oil feed hole in the block , so that no shavings would fall in , then once done i cleaned with a qtip and pulled the "earplug" out with tweezers.lol.
I had a similar problem in another Sr But with one of the exausth manifold Bolts stripped. and helicoil kit fixed it very well.. so.. i think thats ur best option there. GL
i sent you a PM with a few questions
Thats wierd, on the very back of my head, that last stud to the exhaust manifold is broken and i was trying to figure out a way to get it out lol. Im more worried about a massive oil leak than a tiny exhaust leak though
where did you get the helicoil kit from?
