it depends on how much materials you'll need. My car took four gallons but that's because the original color was (is) black, and bringing up the red take a few coats.

Yeah, you actually can. You can do whatever you like. My friends CC.

Both are great options but with the Plasti dip if you need a touch up, you can. With a vinyl it's hard and becomes expensive.

Same car but now Plasti dipped black...the options are endless.

Then kps post is irrelevant. of course it wasnt expensive...it was free from a sponsor.... a very good wrap is expensive. i have never seen a good detailed wrap thats done for cheap. and the ones that are cheap look like donkey dick up close.
