A dark day for the Hachi Roku

I decided I was too hard of that guy even tho he had a bad attitude. Please forgive. I wrote the post right after I got home when I was still mad. I apologize for the immature way i acted and I hope it didn't mold the way people view me. I just love hachis to death and I was admiring that particular one all day. I'm really a humble and nice guy, but everyone I get flustered. A thousand pardons.

Well, if he's willing to accept the consequences for his style of driving, more power to him. I guess it can be seen as a hard lesson learned.

Yes it was a Previa, and after seeing that, I'm reconsidering the idea of turning my father's Previa into a turbocharged truck again. Friggin' tight.

Yeah I heard that van actually tandemed. I was like WTF?!

It was the funniest thing I've even seen. That bubble wagon actually got sideways with the TerTech BMW.

To hell with the driver of the AE86. He commited murder to a wonderful car that didn't deserve to die. He was gripping the corners then breaking traction at the exit. Before he ended that 86, he banged it the wall with his tail and messed up his rear fender, bumper and lights. I screamed and threw my hat on the floor. The guy next to me thought it was my car by the way I was acting. He should've calmed down after that. But NO, he insisted on torturing the car.
It is very difficult to drift an underpowered car and this guy had no idea what he was doing! He was on the track for 7 MINUTES, he had no consideration for the other people waiting for their turn that son of a b****! I was talking to George when I heard a loud crash. Then Gangsta yelling "The Hachi is gone!" When I look I saw something no car lover should ever have to see. The guy was a moron, he was so calm and didn't realize the atrosity that he commited, saying he could fix it in a week cuz he has a bodyshop. Out of all people he should've known that car was gone. I hate that bastard for what he did and his ignorance was unacceptable!

Before that however it was bliss. Especially when it started raining. George was a monster and Gangsta took me on a lap I will never forget. That was intense, I had alot of fun and the people were very friendly and they let park inside even though I wasn't drifting :)

WTH? This was a practice event where people are trying to learn. At least the guy has balls enough to try to drive instead of criticize behind a fence. Accidents happen and that's life. It's just an old Toyota anyways. What's important is that nobody got hurt.

Let me ask u something Santana, wher u drifting?? Becasue if u arent out there doing what we do pushing our cars we dont know where your coming from, how are u gonna say hey dosent know what hes doing, we dont see u driving it. So next time have some more consideration of what happens out on the field.

Your right, who am I to talk. I had a good night sleep to regret my unnecessary agressiveness. I will however keep my opinion of the drivers attitude. He was disrespecting George's girls knowlegde on cars. That was rude.

the person driving the corolla and crashed it wasn't the owner of the car

I know who's car it was and who was driving it but I fail to see how that bit of information is even remotely pertinent to this discussion.

because he shouldn't ever had treated someone elses car like that. maybe if it was your car and you would feel different

It was an accident. The driver was the owners brother. It was his call to let his brother drive and now it's his problem to deal with. IF I were to let someone drive my car, they'd have to meet certain criteria starting with being an excellent driver and ending with being a trustworthy friend (like Harri or Santi). If something were to happen to the car, I'd be more worried about the driver than the car and given that they were OK, I'd take it with a "**** happens" kind of attitude. I wouldn't feel any differently than that.

Well the crash did not hurt the driver, so now we can all stop worrying about the driver. It isn't just some old Toyota, I belive it was an Ae86. A beautiful one at that. When he smacked the wall with the *** my heart skipped a beat. That should have been his clue to calm down. I was even talking to Tj's wife about how I noticed that people that crashed once in one day didn't crash a second time. I feel bad for the driver, and feel even worse for his brother, and I cryed for the death of that 86. Anyways.....it was a sad end to an awsome day.
