Well January always brings changes. This year we are going to be working towards a standard tech inspection that will be the same across other venues in the state. So on Sunday Jan 13 2013 we are going to have a tech day.

What to expect

Your car is going to get a thorough tech inspection, and we are going to point out what needs to be fixed, what you do not have that you need, and we will also give you suggestions on things you can improve on. There is no pass or fail . You are going to be told what needs to be done, and you will need to correct it moving forward.

After Tech we drift.

I want to point out this is a day you really need to make it out to. We would hate to have to turn anyone away from future events for problems that you can easily correct.

Oh and its during the day :)

Note new Driver admission price

$50 per Driver
$12 per spectator

Ahhh.
It's one serious tech. Like, we are gonna get serious when we tech these cars.
After that, the cars will just be glanced over.
If a car hasn't gone through tech, it will get a serious tech, then the same as the others.

Why? Did you not tech the cars before?

cars do get teched at cfrc. If it is a car that is know to consistently pass county line or other pro am or pro level events, they'll just get kind of looked at.
I personally have never done tech at cfrc before, I just drive there. I listened to all of you talk shit about cfrc in the podcast, it bummed me out, so now I'm gonna help do tech.

I could never do tech on my own, because I would fail so many car.

Tech should include
-Working e-brake
-if the car has a power steering rack, it better have working power steering
-a locking diff of some sort.

So if you have an open diff you can't drift ?

And why would anyone try to drift with no power steering . It's like trying to hammer in a nail with your head

If you come to an event with an open diff, you're wasting everyone's time. Seriously.
I don't care if you think you kill it with an open diff. It's stupid.

How would you know if a car passed county line tech?

 I don't remember any trash talking but good job!

I agree that is something everyone should have but not sure how that ensures the car is safe. I would assume you would be checking for loose or frayed wires, safe and secured batteries, leaking gas tanks, water or oil, people with no engine mounts lol (happened to us) and so on.

Start failing people! Because if no ones fails you're not doing it right :chair:
Your idea of not failing or passing people will not get people to fix the problems with their cars.
Lax tech will not help you or the drivers...

I think you event organizers should come together and standardize tech.

I DON'T RUN THE GODDAMN EVENTS. I AM JUST HELPING WITH THE TECH
I DONT MAKE THE RULES
I DON'T DECIDE WHAT HAPPENS

If it was my way, there would be a lot of cry baby dudes that couldn't drive because their cars suck.

I don't know what your fucking issue is with me dude, but you need to fucking chill. You're always trying to start some little pissy argument with me.
You know how many cars come up from county line to come drive cfrc, like barely any. I know who all of them are. Their cars are fine.

Why don't you chill and let the people actually in charge of something deal with this.

Just asking questions and giving my opinion lol don't get all spazzed out "dude"

\/ This made me assume you were involved in the organization. Therefore involved in making decisions on tech.

You must have some kind of pull or involvement if you heard the podcast, made you bummed and now CRFC is doing a tech day.
