im sure the price thing came about because of Kumho/Enjuku back in the day. I think this is really gay in a way. I think the cars are gonna be slower and not as much tire smoke which is one of the big crowd pleasers.

without a doubt the cars will be slower.

How do you figure less tire smoke? Should be more cause the wheel speeds are gonna be greater.

there should be more tire smoke AND closer tandems.

and mars, more rubber would mean more smoke to make, if and only if you have the power to match. otherwise just upping the width is only gonna slow down the wheel and make less smoke.

Yeah if I run xdc or something next year, and if they have the same rule, I'll just throw 60lbs of lead in the car and run good 255s. With the changes I've made this past year with building a new car and getting everything dialed in, I've been needing to step up tire size/quality real bad. I just ain't got no money, and the tires I've been running were bought before my car was really eatin, so I didn't know they was gonna be a joke.

When I ran nexens, federals, stuff like that, jeremy could be on shit nexens, and just ride out on me. When I run 615k's I can catch him with NOOOO problem and pull away from him.

Jr's car weighed 23xxlbs and was on 315's...Dai's car i think weighed less and was on 315's also. The lightest i've seen our Camaro was 3044lbs. but we changed some stuff since then and think we dropped a few more off.
 
dang so it will affect those guys for sure. They will have to add weight and run atleast 255 maybe add more weight and run 275s

I know you love claiming how conrads Camaro is like a stock car, but don't go spreadin lies about Jr's car. His car is a good bit over 2400 pounds. I know this for a dang fact.

Also, Jr and dai have never been on 315's. They ran 295's.

I plan on running 255/40/18 615k's like I do now, but making about 400-450whp. Should still grip like an m-efffer.
 
At cfrc I'm probably gonna run the same crap n3000s that I ran there last time, that I also ran at Desoto before that. Probably with like 13psi in them. Grimey life.

hahahaha. Thats the awesome thing about nexens. I used to bring 4 tires to those street wise events I ran. do one practice session on one set, then take those off to scrub the new ones in. Run the new ones for the next practice session and qualifying, then most of the eliminations if not all of them. Then bring a set home and use em for CFRC usually twice.

I burned 2 sets of 615k's at CFRC last event. haha. retarded insane grip, but just burned through em fast.

nexen3000<7000<8000<9000s. Lets see if I can get my hands on some n9000s next season ^^
 
^^Yeah I wanna run them. Do they offer good sizes to sponsored drivers? Because all I can find for sale are 245s.

Well, yup.

I think you're getting foreal like, mad at me. Idk why though. I ran nexens all dang season then switched to falkens and almost couldn't drift cause of the grip with almost twice the pressure. I'm not saying go get fucked if you run nexens.
Nexens can grip, if you take the time and get your car set up right and know how to drive on them.
Fuck, I kept up with vandenbrink in his mustang on 615's in my car with n3000's. I had to work my ass off, but it's doable.
