hey wondering what tire pressures u guys are running. cold or hot. front and rear. thanks people
what?If you want to know a general rule of thumb, most people run ~5-10 PSI higher in the rear. Sometimes a bit more depending on the tire.. something I didn't even pay attention to until about a month ago lol. It makes a good difference though, you need to find your own needs and adjust the tires according to your setup.
I meant 40, but for some reason I typed 45.
cool.
lol... foreal tho my tires were always at 38 with my potenzas.... soooo, i know i dont know much but when they were at 34 they chunked like a mutha in two runs at skid pad... at 42 they were burning real quick and i didnt see any improvements so i tried 38... lol, i might be sounding really stupid right now but i set em there and left em there!!!!!!
i use potenza run flats and i have 45 in the front and 50 rear. sounds crazy but they are 80 thread wear so they are stupidly gripy but they are thick as balls so they can handle the pressure and i still have plenty of grip in the front
not at alll bro.
like, tires are SOOOOO weird.
A tire will completely fall apart at one pressure, but go one pound up and it'll be perfect. haha.
45 in the front?!
holy crap dood. Thats insane.
My fronts stay at 28-30 psi cold. 235/40/17 Federal 595 SS. I was gonna run RT615's, but if it were to rain, I would be SCREWED!! I stay with the 595 SS tires up front cause they're pretty good grip, and sweeeeeetttt in the rain.
32 psi up front and 50psi on the back
this is what i always run on a stock ka and 195 60 15s
