If you guys remember Toonami from wayy back in the days of showing good anime then this might bring back some good memories.

For ppl that enjoy anime in general, this was the shit back from 1997 to 06. After that it all went down hill. Till 08 when Toonami was cancelled for good.

Oh man I loved Toonami. Cowboy Bebop, FLCL, Outlaw Star, Zoids, Vampire Hunter D... good shit. Even the dragon ball series way back when haha.
 
Anime in English blows big time. Not to mention the censoring. Locomotion in South America is what it was all about! Akira, Evangelion, and Lupin III movies just to name a few. And hell no Im not an otaku :ghey:

yea i've watched locomotion before with evangelion and bubblegum crisis when i stayed in Costa Rica. Its dope, but it gets tiring after awhile.

old toonami had good anime, sorry for being a broke middle school/teenager that couldn't afford to watch/get j-land animes and all the other goodies.

we do make do with what we got bish!

That would be a compliment. I love anime. Some anime is pure genious. Other is a stinking pile of shit. But I always keep it to myself so as to not be confused with "real anime fans" - 4chan otakus, animecon, ect ect etc :ugh:
 
Cowboy Bebop is still to this very day the greatest thing i have ever in my life seen. i have fond memories of staying up way past midnight on school nights back in high school to watch that shit all alone in the dark in my living room while everyone was asleep in the house...it was a fkn masterpiece.

damn thats old, i remember bootlegging everything on CDs (even when it took like 5 cds for something lol)

but yea those were the good times.
