S14 SR20 Problem

and you tryied another maf? have you check the wiring to the maf? (look for stripped wires that when you hit 5k rpms the engine would move and make contact
 
we tried 3 diff mafs(we took them out of working turbo'd cars, of course we gave them back lol) im going to check on the wiring of the maf tomorrow and as well changing the dist...any ideas?

ill post a pic of what happened to my maf conector and the cam angle sensor wiring, so you can see how a little trouble can cause so much crap lol :p i'll take pics tomorrow
 
we already changed the ecu for another one. so that couldnt be it...unless knowing my luck the new ecu is damaged as well.
 
damm, thats the same problem i just had on my sr.

my car was running fine until i installed an afc neo. an the same thing tha happen to u happen to me.

i would drive the car, an then out of no were the car will just die out while driving. it wont have any throttle response at all. an then it wouldnt rev over 2k rpms. it will rev to 2k an drop like a freaking 2step. lmao

but i took my car tp jg autoworks an the guy changed some of the setting on the afc an the car hasnt had any problems. he told me it could be the ecu thats bad an running closed loop.

so check ur afc settings if that helps any.
