S14 SR20 Problem

have you checked to see if all of your injectors are getting a signal, you could do this two ways one remove the fuel rail leaving the injectors on the rail and have a friend or who ever try starting the car and look at your spray pattern if the dribble out with out any pressure your injector(s) could be clogged or if you dont get any thing then your not getting any signal or you could just get a noid light and check it that way. are you getting spark on all the plugs? and is the spark strong? check that and get back with us
 
sr20 problem

My sr20 is complete stock and I have the some problem. Every time I let my car idle for more than 4 or 5 minutes, wont go over 2000 rpm.If any body find something let me know. Thanks
 
yeah i have aftermarket fuel pressure reg and walbro fuel pump. pres reg reads 30psi

who did the wiring? MOE from JDM miami is fixing it because the "Super Shop" that did the car are nowhere to be found.

check ur maf plug, my car had a similar problem, i replaced everything i possibly can and it ended being my maf plug. sometimes the wires inside are loose and not getting a good ground. check the plug itself and the wires going into it. If u know anyone with a another plug, id suggest u try it... let me know if this helps
 
The wiring that goes to the Cam Angle sensors where welded and they got loose creating a short circuit , and the Maf plug had paint inside and the wires where live (stripped) , the Fan's were installed using the Horn relay that it melted down and burn the wiring inside, so Moe rewire the FAL fans thru the oem fan and installed a fal sensor for the second one. Also the Air filter was completely destroyed so i had to replace it.

finally the car runs and Moe will be finishing the AC and i will have a decent car :D! but the wiring on the neo will have to be fixed too, so i wont have neo until i save some cash and i upgrade turbo, injectors , Maf and all the necesary things to obtain the power level i would like.
 
I check my connector today. I got 4 wires, one is complete stripped, but not connect to the connector, only 3 goes to the MAF connector.
 
haha i always hear that. im going to change my dist. maybe thats my prob(the coil packs) if not then im just going to get an sr swap or talk to moe maybe he can fix it..
 
yeah man mine was quick fix! but they need to find out where to look if not you waste time and money replacing crap that is dont needed :p lol i have an extra MAF for nothing lol :p
 
lol..just consider it as a backup just incase.(knocks on wood) so far i've replaced my plugs, a new fuel pump and retuned the car...nothing as of yet worked..so maybe this small fix will get the car going as it should!

and it doesnt rev over 2000? 2500 ? after couple of minutes? what does it do exactly ?
 
basically everytime i drive the car in every gear the car bogs out at 5500 rpms..feel like im hitting a rev limiter or something.
 
or awhile afterwards...but before the turbo was installed it would do it a lil but i was still able to rev pass 5500. now when i hit 5500 the car will just stop.
