well if i paid that much for a GTR and the god damn tranny blows and it cost 20,000 for a new tranny id be pissed. I think its a ugly P.O.S. Every fanboy including you is jokin it just cause its a gtr but if you look at nothing says gtr but the badge on the back. It should of had a RB in it and it should only come with a manual tranny. Plus its the ugliest "super car" ever made. Plus putting shit in the car like launch control that once you use it bam voided warranty. Shits just stupid. :bigthumbu

I bet if you NEVER use Luanch Contorl the transmission would last a good while. the car is NOT a drag car, go buy a charger for that crap.
 
I was able to talk to one of the southeast nissan reps at work, the REAL reason why LC was ever made, was for the advantage at the start of a ROAD COURSE RACE, not to be used drag/street racing. The reason why they advertised it so much was for sales, and ANY car manufactor would do the same, so for that they messed up. Now that LC is NOT available ANYMORE, what more can you guys complain about? exterior is TOTALLY personal opinion. The only real thing I hate about the gtr is the oem rear spoiler and I would change the wheels. I dont like AWD but theres to much of an advantage not to have it.
 
Either way tonymac and s13slide are correct in almost every way shit happens. Thats like someone saying all ka-t's/ka's blow up. Thats not true at all look at Sketchy's car. He barely beat on his ka. and only had like 140*** miles on it and randomly got rod knock. I beat the hell out of my ka almost every other week at the skid pad and nothing bad has happened.
 
I think there is a conspiracy going on. When Nissan was building R32-R34 GT-Rs, they were all like, "Let's build something totally awesome, but not send it to America." Now they are making the R35 GT-R and they are all saying, "Ok, let's send this new GT-R to America, put a lot more power and performance, but still make it a total POS because it's going to America. That'll keep 'em whining."

You guys are comparing dyno queens with a car taken on the track put through an "exhaustive" R&D routine - in other words being driven balls to the wall on a race track for extended periods of time.

Plenty of ppl have made well over 500whp on stock 4g63's but nobody would ever expect that to last if being abused. Its just a number for bragging rights or the drag strip.
