i hate frogs.. bad ass shots frank cant wait till you the new car by the bridge!! woot :bigthumbu

Looks good, what do you expect, damn $3000 camera!

Closer to 2200 but still alot more than most people on this board are willing to spend on a camera.

Nice pick up. How come you didn't wait for the d700? I played around with the d200 & 300. They made me wanna switch but I'm sure if I got to use a 1d mkII/mkIII i'd stay canon.

The d300 is no where near $3,000.00 or $2,200.00.

If you paid more then $1,600.00 for the camera, you got ripped off.

Nice shots Frank! I <3 The Frog one. Great detail.

BTW The D300 is @ Bestbuy for like $1700 for the kit

to set the record straight: best buy is where I got it, $1700+ for the camera $2500+ for the kit (You have to pull the flap over to see the cost with the lens as I learned). I paid $3k and not ashamed to say it. I got the Kit, Nikon bag (w/ extra battery and little nikon photography book), UV and circular polarizer filters, 4 year warranty that also covers accidental damages, and I don't have to pay with no interest for 2 years. Yes I could have gotten it cheaper else where but my best buy card only works at best buy and couldn't afford it any other way ;)

I want to start my own thing and hopefully make this into a career and already have some interest.

Thanks for all the great comments. I'm still practicing everyday (or try to) to get used to the Nikon and high caliber of camera it is compared to the Sony and other cameras I've used.

If you want a photo shoot or anything else (event photographer) please let me know I need all the practice I can get and it would be greatly appreciated.

That 2 years no Interest Deal is SICK!

Just to clear it up. That "froggy" Isnt a frog.

Its a Bofo Toad. those are the ones that are toxic to animals. My wife has a set of 6 of them, with the largest one being over 2lbs. ill take some shots of them tonight.

Nice shots none the less and nice pick up!

The spida shot shows the quality of the Nikon D300...this is for Hayabusa Nikon FTW.
