whos running a 20g?

Things won't improve much w/ that turbo. Its worse of a mismatch but the ar should improve spool a bit. A 60 compressor is too big for your goals. I would get a 50 trim a/ a .63 ar (stg 3).

I was just wonder, isn't a greddy 18g turbo bigger then a g2871r? If so why is it that only low to mid 300's can be made on an 18g compared to the 380 ppl say can be made on the 2871?

I could be wrong on the size issue but I've never seen either up close in person. So if someone could explain. Would it be its flow rate?

Flow rates alone are mostly worthless.

Yes the 18g is slightly larger.

Mitsu turbos are different animals than garrett turbos. If you look around you'll find that people tend to run really high boost levels to achieve their numbers.
