I've driven a car with a fresh vlsd. If you let off the gas a bit to much it would straighten.

Welded diffs are too scary for me. It rains like every day here, and all i do is spin out

first, take your stock diff out.
open it and clean it all out.
Here comes the tough part.
Take your 180 diff.
Lift it up.
throw it away.
Take your diff to a shop and get it welded.
re-install.

horrible advice^
welded is great for drifting, sucks for dailying
you are gonna need a 14 15 and 17 i believe
and a set of strong arms or a jack

+1111. This is why I sold my 180sx 4.3 diff..
It was an awesome everyday diff..but thats about it.
