Looks like you need help on diff choices? Say something a fan boy will say umm Kaaza or Nismu. Thats how you guys spell it im sure.

you are gonna need a 14 15 and 17 i believe
and a set of strong arms or a jack :D
How many times have you taken out your diff, I figured this would be common knowledge?
Where may I ask do you use a 15mm in a diff swap? to scratch your head with?
(on s14's the only one that changes is the two impossible to get 19mm cover bolts)
12's for the axel bolts
17s for the subframe (4 on the cover and the 2 long subframe bolts)
14's on the driveshaft locking bolts (and if you lower the sway bar on removal these too are 14mm.

I dont see the OP installing his own diff, and if he does... he's probably going to die
Also, if you DO in fact do your install and are wondering why your Gay-30 vlsd doesnt fit.

1. make sure you have 6bolt output flanges or you will need the 5 bolt axels and the long sub frame bolts and you'll need to change out your diff cover to an S13 or S14 (Whatever your car is = S13: 4 17mm, or S14: 2 19mm)

I dont know why I wasted my time typing it, whoever decides to install it for you will know what to do.
Also, put 80w90w gear oil 1.5-2qts

You're putting a vlsd in your car to drift, am I right? Sliding on a nissan vlsd is about as enjoyable as watching tranny porn holding hands with your dad.
Save your money and buy a 1.5 way or a 2 way. Or shim your vlsd. All your doing is wasting your time putting a worn out nissan vlsd in your car.

For real. Vlsd's suck on initiation, and unlock, they're in most cases are worn out, great for daily driving, but thats it.
But Im positive that OP is not going to drive. at all.

Yea go get a J30, welded is what seperates the mens from the boys.
no, 2-ways are what seperate men from the boys. Welded is the stepping stone into manhood. its like finger banging and graduating to DP.

Really for something that reacts the same? Dangles boy slide or die has the tomei diff and I see no diff in when he turns.
 
my advice, dont get your hands dirty because i can do it for you for just 50 bucks! just bring it to my house call me after 5 pm 786 718 4434 tony. idk if thats a 6-bolt or 5-bolt diff. if its a 6-bolt bring it over!! if its a 5-bolt ima need that big socket to replace the axles. and i'll talk you through the steps while im doing it so you can learn to do it. thats the best way to learn, watchibg someone do it.... thats why everyone watches porn.

ok so i just got a 180sx vlsd and im gonna put it in tomorrow, wat exactly o i need to do to install it? and wat liquids do i need to get if i need any?

so how many ppl who posted in here answered these 2 questions?
 
I answered those questions.
Same rules apply if its 5 bolt. (he'll need axels) only you dont have to change out the diff cover opposed to the J30.

I put in a KAAZ diff.. total difference opposed to a welded. I thought the same as you, until I got a 2-way

I driven a 2 way car, and a welded diff car. I have a welded in mine cause im cheap. I can deffinatley feel a difference with the 2 way. Soo much better.

but never the less. VLSD's SUCK FUCKING DICK.

for real i had a kazz 2 way in my supra just before i blew it up i would def rather have a 2 way over a welded but welded is way better then a vlsd
