this should be are standered for 2010

Agreed.

I've wanted to be in the scene since 07, and now that I finally have a car(s) that I can actually slide... The scene is fucking weak.... Street sliding is fun, to a certain point though. I've been to 4 skid pads in the last 2 1/2 months, they're fun as well, but get boring once you connect it every time. I want REAL local events!!! Like PBIR, fairgrounds, and the big track at county line. They all need to happen more often.

Honestly, countyline skid pad events sound great. Cool that there is so much seat time for the drivers.....but foreal, that has GOT to get boring. The videos I've seen are like jiust one big donut. Awesome that there is so much available seat time though.

Harri lost faith in everyone after FDC. SOOO many people were sooooo pumped and were gonna show up to every event and have so much fun. Then when there is a PBIR event that cost 100( RETARDEDLY CHEAP!) barley anyone shows up. That place should have been PACKED!

I know me and all the legit doods (now that everyones car is running) would be SOOOOO DOWN for a pbir event....but the 15 or so of us, cant fill an event all on our own. All these guys that talk a big game need to step up and drive like the men they claim to be.

Drifting in Florida is down right embarrassing these days. The only two consistant events that go on, are on TINY skid pads. Its more than pathetic.

naw, foreal.

Like, all ya'll do is talk shit on the internet.

Start driving.
Start showing support.
Stop bitching

that is true,i mean shit talking amongst friends is ok but we let it get to the point were it breaks friendships and start fights in the community, making it hard to rise together to our same-shared goal, for sfl drifters rise to the top of the drifting world and know that it will be there for our children and our children's children so they to can share our glory with out the sweat, tears and sorrow that we shed everyday for this great sport AND WE SHALL RIDE IN TO BATTLE WITH OUR ZIP TIED BUMPERS AND RATTLE CAN PAINT JOBS,SCRAPPING EVERY SPEED BUMP WITH OUR RIDICULOUSLY LOW CARS AND MARK EVERY TUNE WITH ARE CAMBER-WORN TIRES AND DEAFEN ANY FOOL WHO DOUGHTS USE WITH OUR EXCESSIVELY LOUD FAT CANS,cause for we are the future of this sport and years after are crusades have ended we will be spoken of as the fathers and mothers of this great mighty empire called DO-RI-FU-TO

For me, it's a money issue. Trying to
get my car fd tech and driving that swd proam series.
Noone else from up around here isn't gonna
go cause of cfrc on the 17th.

I'm not saying countyline isn't cool as fuck, but for a 4 hour trip, it's not
really worth it for me.

I wanna drive something fasttttt like pbir or desoto.

You guys make the drifting community what it is stop complaining and support big events.
Their is no one to blame but yourselves...

i hear ya....money is just about everybodies issue. and yes 4 hour trips suck. i wish i could get out to all the other fla tracks. i need more power and more vacation days at work lol

Pbir events would bring people from out of state.

Possibly a 2 day event with a competition with cash prize.
Hype the fuck put of it, and only do it if 50+ people pre reg.
It could happen. Hotlapping for caged pro doods. It would be amazing.
Swap bash 2010.

True

We had so many opportunities spoon-fed to us and all it would have taken was a little support from everyone to really get/keep things rolling. Instead we got handfuls of people that committed everything and a entire group of people that instead of coming out and driving/supporting sat on the computer and screaming for media. It was embarrassing to be out there and to see the lack of spectators. And yet the very year before every Ter-Tech "practice" event was sold out within hours of the registration opening?!?!? What the hell? I cant thank enough the people that are still keeping it alive in FL. And to all the people that themselves know that they are/were doing their part in helping the sport grow, Thanks. Everyone else... make up your damn mind.

i remember when all spots would be filled up and there would be spots being sold in the for sale section and also in the wtb section lol...

imma slap you dawh!

why do you feel that way?im just exited to help thedrifting scene become something big down here

Or we should just get our fcat money back

lol good luck with that,on a side note you hear about the new bill congress want to approve, more tests like the fcat, meaning more money out of our pockets, isnt better to just let the teacher reach,i think that would make school alot more effective in florida, just my 2 cents
