Testing waters japan trip 2009?

chuck WILL be going...even if I have to front him the money then pimp him out for reimbursement
 
Put me on this "Potential Japan Traveler" list I'm already starting to save up.

Cliffnotes:

-Moe is organizing a trip to japan w/5 people minimum.
-Age Limit is 20 for the trip and the legal age for everything in Japan (smoke, clubs, drink, etc)
-The group pays for his ticket and in return he will be our tour guide for the 14 days we are there (which is a good deal)
-All paper work, tickets and rail passes must be ready by January 2009 or you will not be allowed with our group
-THE TRIP DOES NOT LEAVE IN JANUARY EVERYTHING MUST BE READY BY THEN
-You should have $5000 ready to spend total: tickets, passes, hotel, food, fun, parts (you know everyone is going to at the very least get a steering wheel or shit knob or some shit lol)

Q. Can I go? I'm going to be 18/19Etc. OR Why Can't I go if I'm not 20?
A. We want a mature group, responsible individuals. All of us who are 21 and older don't want to be baby sitting anyone. Don't take it offensively, its just we want to be sure we are not getting a group of kids. Personally I wouldn't even want to go until I was old enough to get into the clubs/bars/hostess bars etc. so you guys have fun by yourself, while Gui, Moe, Me, etc are all in a club having a blast. We really just don't want to have to worry about anyone.

Q. Why do I need $5000? That seems like a lot...
A. Stay home and watch Tokyo Drift or something....seriously. You gotta pay to play. I owe more than that right now and I'm going to hustle to pay it off and save as much as possible to make it. Plan your own trip and price it and good luck on your own

Let me break down some more charges that most people don't think of: Entrance fee into museums/the D1 thing/clubs, JR isn't open all night and depending where we are we might need a taxi from whatever club/bar we are at, highway tolls, car rental (i would rent a car at least for one day and if we all split it shouldn't be soo bad), vending machine snacks, pachinko, hookers, etc.



This thread is already 6 pages, Please only post if you are serious about going. We already know/don't care that you "Wish you could go" "hope to get the money by then but not sure" "think its too much" ETC.

The only thing we want to know is WHO IS SERIOUS ABOUT GOING

ummm japan is a land full of beauty and culture...so yea...theres alot too see and honestly 2 weeks is not enough time... :laugh:

...and honestly if all you want to do is have smex w/ japanese girls then go to the massage parlor down in miami and ask f/ nonstop happy endings...tell them j0nes sent you :laugh:
