night drifting fuckin rules. I love it cuz my car won't over heat. lol gotta install my h.i.d. conversion now. woot

well my headlights are working awesome this time around and I should be there running the road course

Heard a lot of people had a hard time seeing on the road course. Also that a couple people wrecked.

I would personally want it to be a day event so if I male it to the raod course I will have no problem with how the drift line should be run.(just my opinion)

Daytime option is not available (because Moroso has busy schedule)...we will do our best to light up the road course better this time...and about people wrecking...It is motorsport and people will always wreck...there has been accidents also on day time...I do believe we had more accidents on daytime events than night time events...know your limits and act accordingly

yeah I was hopeing it would be a day event so I could see the track, I have never been very confident drifting at night. People who street drift alot probly are quite comfortable with it but I guess i'll give it a try

ok if this is actually a nopi qualifier event i cant wait till pre-reg opens already! Sounds like it will be another fun ass event at moroso!

hows this going work well though being a night event and a nopi qualifer? The track is the best lit even with with extra portable lights

Guy's i drove on the track at the night event and i had no problem what so ever seeing where i was going, the lighting wasn't awsome but it did the job, remember it was the first night event at moroso so yes their were some glitches that needed to be fixed as does anything when you do it for the first time. The last moroso night event was great, and dont listen much to what people were telling you bout the track not being visible because it sure as hell was. This time they know all the complaints they got and im sure they are going to do their best to fix it to everyones needs. And a good idea would be for more people to go to the track and get off the skidpad allready!!! (BIGMIKE) lol it's a real fun high speed track and you'll learn from it as did i with harri and juan in my passenger seat.

I agree. The track had its dark spots (like the first upper lip of the final double-apex) but it was my first time on the road course that night and after a couple of runs of getting comfortable with the lay out the lighting was good enough to be confident with commiting to a line. Just take your time with the first runs, hell just drive the first run if you have too... I did.

the lighting is fine for just a practice day , but if your going to be competing your going to have to go all out. so "taking" it easy around the dark spots wont get you that license.

I don't know about you guys but most of the drifting I do is at night - I almost feel more comfortable at night than I do in the day - this is going to make for an AWESOME event...I seriously can't wait! :D

Besides...it's not as scary if you can't see the walls. ;)

Two words: total commitment. :bigthumbu

Anyone know how much registration will be for this event?

like 100 bucks isnt it?

also is there a spectator fee or an additional driver / ride along fee?
