I ran a set of old Yokohamas on the skidpad all day and then numerous runs on the course and those held up the entire day. Skid pad is so tire friendly.

where is all the info for this event?

Other than the day of the event, I cant seem to find the registration, times, rules, spots open, a flyer, etc. etc.

For the people that have driven the road course:
How bad does the road course eat up tires?

Depends oh how hard you are on the throttle but I used a good 3 sets but then again I did the burnout too at the last event so I would plan on 2 to 3.

On another note:
I just looked at the Ter-Tech Web site and they have some interesting news.

All NOPI licensed drivers will drive for free at all the Ter-Tech events in -08, This is going to be a great year for us and all the drivers and spectators. We also are now official NOPI qualifier in Florida. So the next event is going to be a NOPI qualifier in Feb 16th, -08."

This should be cool.

i need to drift! but idk am kinda scared its my dayli i dont want my car to give up pretty far away from home!

dude i drift my daily. it brakes i limp it home fix it and start again. lol Thats what happens when you want to drift but can't afford two cars. also the better you prepare the car the less likley you are to brake. I have used the same tires for two countyline events and one at moroso. I'm gonna use the same ones again at this event. The skid pad is great on tires. I would suggest going over the car a few times and make sure everything is good to go. I spend about a week of adjusting my car to my driving style. But no matter how well you prepare parts still brake so i would have someone on call that can tow you home. lol -SAS

i usually get 6 to 7 runs on a new set of tires. but it all depends tho on the tire and how much power/throttle you give it.

Dam!!! Now that all the nopi licenced people get in for free; I need to hurry up and get my licence.

Just got a new 1.5 way Kazz installed. Locks like a dream. :bigthumbu

See you all there.
