Ter-Tech and WDC, IRL Qualifier pre reg.

If You Are Driving A Convertible Car Miata, Honda S2000 Etc... You Need To Have Roll Bar Installed For This Event Otherwise You Will Not Be Allowed To Drive.

You wont be able to compete, but Terence will let you drive at IRL anyway if you want to. I gave him your number so he'll call you.

Piner you are the best. last time you were a great help and I would preciate if you are willing to do it again, but this time don't leave so early so you can go eat with us after the event

That is also for a convertible 240sx ??

damn, wish i would of known this before hand i dont think i can come up with the funds for a roll bar before the event...

The reply came today from the insurance company you still have over 6 weeks to get it ready. Roll bar (not a rollcage) on all convertibles including 240sx, ford, nissan, toyota, jeep, bmw, honda, chevrolet, acura, mazda, mersedez benz, ferrari, porsche subaru, bentley hehehe etc......

hahah bentley wouldnt want a rollbar, you roll that bitch you'd want to be dead. hahah make sure its the right thickness if you get one, no sense in getting on that sucks for like scca spec

well its not a matter of time its a matter of money. work is slow and my car stil needs stuff done to finish it. i guess i am going to have to sit this one out, what a shame.

ps.- miatas "roll bars" start at ~$350. then there is the shipping which usually rapes you a new one cus of size and weight and finally the installation which isnt too cheap either. working and paying off bills i dont think i can come up with that kind of money before the event. if i can it will deffinately be a close call.

well realistically i have a feeling its an insurance issue. i'd be willing to bet the WDC might even require a full cage for the indy demo considering the walls that surround it.

you are correct who ever wins the event or additional drivers that the judges may sellect to take part at IRL will have to have full cage installed by the time they take part at st pete
