Any word on the Opa Locka event? If you guys really plan on having this in January, it'd be interesting to give at least a month's notice for people to get ready.

I GOT SOME GOOD NEWS AND SOME BAD NEWS....BAD NEWS FIRST, THE DATES THAT WERE AVAILABLE FOR GRABS IN JANUARY IS NOT GOING TO WORK OUT

THE GOOD NEWS IS THE DATE HAS BEEN RESCHEDULED FOR FEBRUARY

WE ARE AWARE THAT THEIR IS HARRI'S EVENT TO CONSIDER AS WELL ON THE 24TH OF FEB, WE ARE TRYING TO SCHEDULE IT HOPEFULLY THE FIRST WEEK OF FEBRUARY

Well I am registering for Ter-Tech's event regardless. But please keep us posted with information such as dates and prices.... or any other information that could be of use to us. I have also been to the Opa Locka airport and I am interested in knowing which section of the airport would we be using.

My only fear in all of this is that it will hurt both you guys and Ter-Tech if having two events close to one another without enough people to register. There's an average of how days does the usual SFLDrifter member takes to be able to attend one event to the next... and it usually seems to be 1 month, if not a bit more.

And in the end, I rather see one fully registered event than two with 20 people. Yes its more seat time for drivers, however companies investing end up losing money and it diminishes the chances of having future events.

And anyone that has been on the FL drift scene for over a year knows how much it sucks when those companies who do show some support take a leave of absence, leaving us months without any events.

If you think about it, it might not be too bad to have an event in early feb only to get more people ready for the ter-tech qualifying, almost like a practice so people can freshen up on skills.....
