I was wondering what you guys suggest for a turbo upgrade. My goal is 350 rwhp with very good response. I have been looking @ running a gt28rs on the stock manifold for now, with some jwt s3 cams, z32, 550's.

A couple of people have been telling me to go the s15 specR turbo route with z32 maf, 550's, and a tune.

Anyone know how much hp that setup puts out @ 15psi?

Anyone here running a gt28rs or jwt cams and can give me some input?

Guille... Take it from me... GT2871r .64a/r, 740cc injectors, Z32 MAFS, and those S3's - shit will rock ur world :D stock manifolds and errrthing 350rwhp is a breeze with great response

Also id recommend 740's over 550's just cause you will probably max those 550's in no time and be running them @ too high a duty cycle trying to make that much HP - with the 740's you wil also have a tad bit more room to grow down the road

Ive owned the S3 cams - u drove my first setup with em - awesome all around cams.

werd, bump to bigger injectors just to be on the safe side. Also look into a gtiR t28 turbo, if done right its about a 20hp different between the specR turbo. Although I still say you cant beat the response of the SpecR
 
If this helps any on my old motor which had some bad blow bye I put down 310/290 with a t28 and 550 Injectors I think with a healthy motor some bigger injectors and some nice cams your goal is easily reachable
 
youl Be maxing a gt28r or s15 turbo at 350 you could get away with 330 whp on the 28r and 310 on the s15. So the key for 350-385 is 2871 64 housing and z32 maf and 740 inj s3 cams or 272 and a rom tune stupid easy!! But you will loose a little spool time with the 2871 and big cams. tomie poncams gt28rs and 550 or 740 inj at 330 whp will be more fun to drive to me daily / drift.

How the fuck is it laggy? im pretty sure he is getting cams just get a nice tune and your golden also with that turbo you have alot of room for more power down the road.
 
gt30 is too big abe. Thanks to slickrick for pming me his thoughts. Chances are i will be going with the 2871r thanks again.
 
Its kind of funny i wanted Response so i bought GT2871R .64. I made 396 on it with s4 cams and greddy intake manifold and evey single supporting mod you could think of. But when power goals go up smaller turbo get maxed out. Get a gt30 twinscroll. I ended up saying F response and went with a 35R 60-45 rolls.
