How is a gt3071r too big and a gt2871r is not? They both share the same compressor. A 3071r makes the most sense. A lot of bobo info in this thread.

I saw recommendations for the gt2871r and reference to the 3071r as big and/or laggy. so...idk

If you're building a drift car, i'd go with a 52 trim gt2871r. Its the same turbo as HKS's GT-RS. Pretty much the bee's knees of bottom mount gt28 turbo's IMO. Larger gt2871r's and the quest for 350+ whp is a bad idea to me which is why i recommended the gt3071r originally.
