Some of my photos

Got my camera on friday evening, never played around with a DSLR prior other than using one once on auto setting.

Ive been reading up alot about how all the setting affect one another and just been taking baby steps trying settings out. I get the idea, pretty amazing the things you can do with these cameras.

Im enjoying this alot though, I went out last night to practice some night photos.

I liked this one because of the color added around the red with the flash

What did you end up buying? I'm in the market for one as well. Thinking about the Nikon d3100. And it's amazing how different it is going from a point n shoot to a dslr. Sweet shots for a n00b!

$1050 shipped off of Amazon, I found the same body and lens combo off of a website called 42stphoto or something like for under 1g but I read a ton of bad reviews so i was alittle hesitant to purchase from them.

Nice man, they look good. Just keep playing around and trying new shit out thats the best way to learn.

very nice man, just picked up a canon t2i a couple weeks ago and its ridiculous how fast i fill up the memory cards. Better progress than me though.

Also went to the airport to practice panning so I dont totally suck when I go to a racing event. This is one of the only shots that I liked that came out decent where you can get a sense of speed.

I picked up a Nikon D3100 myself a few months back. I just got a 55-200mm lens for it. I love this camera.

Great camera for starting out, too.

I got it for $600, bought the 55-200mm lens for $200.

Thanks for the support guys, im at the airport right now getting ready to head up to NYC so hopefully I will get some good pictures from up there to share with everyone.
