its funny to watch how 75% of the people who posted in this thread probably know nothing about politics and are just voting on what they THINK they know. both candidates have pros and cons when it comes to their views on the economical reform , health policies, etc. i would personally for obama for the simple fact that there is no significant third party runner and i disagree more with mccain than i do with obama. stop looking at black and white and look at WHO CAN FIX WHATS FUCKED UP BETTER? change the channel from cbs 4 or channel 23 and watch some CNN

Democrats wants are usually at least loosely in line w/ socialist beliefs and he's been quoted saying that he looks to emulate much of Europe's policies - socialism. He says he wants to tax corporations and wealthier Americans more to give that money back to poorer people to help strengthen the middle class - socialism.

Ron Paul guys - since he's off the ballot, he's been endorsing Chuck Baldwin. Chuck Baldwin is not a Libertarian (like Ron Paul) but rather a Constitutionalist party rep.

Obama’s having been born and raised a Muslim and having left the faith to become a Christian make him neither more nor less qualified to become president of the United States. But if he was born and raised a Muslim and is now hiding that fact, this points to a major deceit, a fundamental misrepresentation about himself that has profound implications about his character and his suitability as president.

If he became a Christian for 20 years, why didn’t he adopt a Christian name to replace “Hussein” which is a muslim name? Is that not a secret code/signal of sort? Keeping in mind that the main focus of Obama’s campaign has been “change”. There is going to be “change” for America.
In his freudian slip, he may very well have gave us a clue that additional states will be added to the pot.

If you listen, he says he has visited 57 states with one left to go and not counting 2 since he was not allowed to visit Alaska and Hawaii. Meaning he probably meant to say 47 states with one left not counting Alaska and Hawaii giving a total of 50. No conspiracy's here IMO.

You're right, but I still think it's fucked up what he's trying to say. Competition is what makes products better for the consumers. If there was only one automobile manufacture we'd all still be driving Model T's. The reason the Americans are looking into Hybrid technology and smaller more efficient engines is because the foreign manufactures have been doing it for years and are selling like hotcakes. If gas was still $1.50/gallon GM and Ford would still be shoving pick up trucks and SUV's down our throats. I'm actually happy gas has gotten expensive as fuck, and I hope it keeps rising. It has shown this country, that we need to find alternate fuel sources and create our own energy. Everyone talks about the environment, but the only reason we are looking into alternate fuel is because of how expensive oil has gotten. No one gives a shit about the environment, it's just a nice reason to cover up the real reason we're looking into alternate fuels. Like I said before, it's no ones fault but the American manufacture's, who sat around getting rich like fat cats off of their trucks, and now that fuel has skyrocketed, they have no products to compete against the foreigners. Fuck the big 3, I hope they all go extinct and make way for better thinkers.

I agree with you 100%. Its just one of the reasons I don't agree w/ the Obama's policies. He also mentions beef in the same press release.

Here's some beef info:
Prior to 2003, Japan and South Korea were respectively the largest and 3rd largest importers of US beef. When mad cow disease surfaced, both countries halted importation. After extensive negotiations, Japan reopened trades w/ the US in 2006 for beef - soon after (still 2006) mad cow diseased beef had been detected in a shipment to Japan. The discontinued importation once again.

So who's fault is it here? Japan and South Korea are looking to protect their people and we bitch that "its not fair" b/c we're losing markets to other beef producers like Australia.

Meanwhile we've done the same thing to other countries - even specifically in the beef industry with regard to import restrictions of Argentine beef due to Foot and Mouth disease.
