I grew up w/ a relative who is mentally retarded.

In middle school I used to volunteer to assist downs babies in learning to crawl (yes you have to teach that to some of them).

In HS I used to volunteer work at Marino's clinic for autism.

McCain spent $22million in advertising in september

Even combined w/ the RNC's contribution, Obama still outspent McCain 2-1.

Talking about cost allocations like a dress are the liberal media's way to sway people from knowing that NO candidate in history has spent more money on an election than Obama.

B/c if the electors fall in line w/ the popular vote, like they usually do, it can sway the outcome.

Personally I think that while although a threat, ACORN's connection w/ Obama is exaggerated. ACORN is BS and needs to be done away with anyway. The second it became clear that voters like Mickey Mouse and the starting Dallas Coyboys' team were registering to vote through ACORN, the organizations should have lost ALL credibility.

I am at the point where I dont care anymore, if you listen to the Mccain supporters they would have you believe that Obama is THE WORST thing that could EVER happen to this country and the Obama supporters say the same thing about Mccain.

The one thing I am almost 100% sure of is practically no one on this site nor anyone I know off the site is going to feel any difference in lifestyle.

I'm not pointing a finger, im stating a FACT.

I see it all over TV and web news: Palin's dress cost $xyz.

Well lets take a look at the big picture if that's the game people want to play. Nobody has ever spent more than Obama and on average, he's spending more than 2x McCain and the RNC combined. That is the truth but nobody cares.

I'm not afraid of Obama getting elected. Well unless what Biden says is true lol.

You know what would really be refreshing? Instead of hearing "My candidate is the absolute best, and if you vote the other guy we will be so screwed I am moving to antartica!" How about "I agree more with candidate A and feel his views are in my best interest but if he doesnt win the other guy who I dont agree with 100% will still do a good job and improve America in other ways my candidate probably wont"

Again, who cares who wins! No one here life is going to change either way. Tell me I am wrong so what? I would love nothing more to be proven wrong but I am no going to get my hopes up.

PS What does how much Obama spends on his campaign matter, seems like Mccain must not care to be president if he isnt spending more. What? He doesnt have more money to spend? Too bad for him, he should have had more people who cared enough for him to be president to donate more money.
