What about Harri Tervola. He had some real good insights over the the maschcdsi vs denofa ruling and its not like he hasnt ran judged event previously

I'm sure this first event will be a competition seeing as there will be a cash out prize for podium finish.

I am submitting the formal proposal tomorrow with possible dates for October.

There will NOT be a limited number of entries however the caged class will have to qualify top 16, then competition (just like pro-am but with actual practice time, lol)

Pre-reg will be preferred and there will be a price penalty for day of event registration.

Speaking of Pre-Reg.... here are the prices/prizes as of now. We are also contacting vendors to pitch in prizes IN ADDITION to what you see below.

Non-Caged Class (Solo Competition)
$75 per person. Includes driver and 2 crew members

Payouts:
1st Place $250
2nd Place $150
3rd Place $75


Caged Class (Tandem)
$150 per person. Includes driver and 2 crew members.

$50 of each Caged Class registration will go into the payout "pot" to be broken up into 1st through 3rd payouts with a MINIMUM payout as shown below.

Minimum Payouts: (Based on 16 car entries, anything over means higher payouts)

1st Place $400
2nd Place $300
3rd Place $150

Yeah i saw that but was hoping it wouldn't be a competition. Competitions take time away from seat time and can take the fun out of it if people take it too seriously.

Oh ok well then any ideas of tech requirements for solo guys(uncaged)?
Ill pre-reg whenever it opens but pre-reg has never done well on SFLdrifters lol i remember when we tried that for Drift-Sessions at countyline lol btw I am Tim's(Hachi) brother.

Yea I figured that out lol. I had dinner with you at Rocco's after PBIR.

I completely understand your concern about the competition and I think Tim's Drift Sessions fills that void really well. But competition can be fun too!

Agreed and ill be there either way as long as my car approves lol - not sure if you guys have put this in stone or not but what will the tech requirements be for solo?

Basically same as drift sessions. All safety equipment, pants, closed toe shoes, all equipment on car secured (battery, etc...)

Over the next couple of weeks I will issue a tech list for both classes. We are going to be very strict and registrations are non-refundable if you don't pass tech, but on the same hand you will have the tech requirements MONTHS in advance so there really won't be any excuses.

I don't think I'm going to run these as a driver as of right now, but if they don't want me as a judge, then I'll cry for days watching magic mike while masturbating with lemons and roofing nails. or just go on living normally. not sure yet.

I sent you a pm, no need to be like that. You don't need to prove yourself, I/we know your an excellent driver and more than qualified to judge.

We honestly just haven't had time to deal with choosing judges yet as we have had other, bigger, fish to fry for now.
