m just saying it never has to be some sort of pay up or get out of SFLD kinda thing, just some rumors i heard here and there a long time ago. There should be dedicated drifters though who give their time and even money to help the sport on their own consent especially when we do our own EVENTS whenever thats gonna be ever..., I including (I've helped out ALOT of people here for free, well usually because I don't end up paying a cent at Denny's lol).

As for street drifting. I'm not saying you should do it, but if you do, be smart. I mean ti isn't very smart in the first place to risk getting caught by the po pos but still.

unless you are cool like me and ricky and can do it in the middle of the day for hours video taping and not even get bothered once by anyone haha man i miss those days

street drifting is fun as **** but i wouldnt do it if there was a place to do it.....actually i stopped for awhile because of the track. the day the track was closed i went street drifting. and guess what. basically totaled the FC at 20mph. two member of this site being true support for the sfld scene got right to work within minutes of my accident. (i was in shock still so i wasnt clear headed for 30 minutes after it) i spraind the bones in my left hand. and f'ed my car up good. ive have been in the situation that they were in and did the same thing for friends.

okay please i said it before on another post also.
we need the right people to contact the tracks and property owners of the tarcks..we do not need a 16-17 yo (not that 100% of them are this way) to call and be like. "can we drift that track dood, it would be mad tyte yo. so DAN no calling them okay. i nominated kyle(kleen555) and his oh so pretty s14 to be the offical sfld. car. its fast clean and professional looking. he carries himself very maturely. plus the guy wears like golf shirts and ****........(take the owners out for a round) i'm not saying it has to be kyle but i think he is what we are looking for. plus he has drifted the secret drift track and can understand the size of track we need we need, some have not and will think it might be too narrow like i first thought about the kart track.

p.s Ricks shoes talk but i don't think they are right for meetings with property owners.

I am very well spoken when I need to be... how do you think I scored with your mom!!! I'm just joshin.. oh wait, haha get it? joshin' josh.. oh man.

rwdrift why not make a special membership that people pay a few bucks a month for? With some benefits of course.

HEy i think street drifting is o.k at times....Depend where you do it...Like a remote area where you know, no one would come passing by...To tell yall the truth i have been drifting and road racing every dang Fri and Sat n SUN, but i choose to race at 3am at night in the country road that goes around a lake.in MN.....where the only lights on is me and 2 of my buddys. we keep it safe and clean keeping or speed under 100mph or in a way, in control.....I know its wrong too, but they don't even have a fukin track up here in MN to DRFT man...Yall are luckier in Florida beacuse you guys got tracks every where. more than Minneasota has. Shoot up north we are the one suffering with no drift course...Plus events like drifitng is dang fukin rare up in mn...i rember only one last year when it was held by this guy with a FC. BOO HOO

damn those look like real drift forums with real meets on real tracks. wtf is that dude complaining about has he seen the ovals that we are stuck with.

Being on the top list for events and what everyone loves STICKERS. I don't know 5 bucks a month would sound about right.

where did anyone mention paying fees on the site? and how many stickers could u put on your car? I appreciate all that the mod's do but this forum is in their best interest ... it's not to make money. I understand if they have a meeting with food or something and they put up a donation jar but paying for membership ... i dont think that will solve anything

I agree with greenmachine, paying 2 be on the site is not a good idea especialy when you can belong to another site for free. Half the people in this site have a problem with cleanning up their car's look, do you really think they will be ok with paying a membership fee even a $1 a month might be to much to ask. This site should stay with the same plan they have been with since the get go. Now if the admin's have to pay to keep the site going then yes there should be a membership fee it's only fair.

NO I am talking about another type of membership above the free membership. That would have some special stuff included or something. I am not saying get rid of the normal membership. Just that it would help organize site related events quicker and help build up the drifting scene in SFL.

i nominated kyle(kleen555) and his oh so pretty s14 to be the offical sfld. car. its fast clean and professional looking. he carries himself very maturely. plus the guy wears like golf shirts and ****........(

LOL, my fiance just read that and is laughing her *** off..... GOLF SHIRTS!!!! :D That's too funny. On a more serious note, I would love to help out in any way I can to further our drift community. I was fortunate enough to get a glimpse of the possibilities of sfl drifting and it was a beautiful thing. Everybody was super supportive and it was awesome to watch people progress and improve. We need a place like the secret drift tract for everyone and if handled properly I think it can be done. People are very receptive to drfiting once they see it done. It's the initial idea that most people have a hard time with. I think if we make a concerted effort to start promoting drifting to some of the local kart tracks or even lots where they hold scca auto-x events it can be done. Erik, Josh, and everyone else who is involved, just let me know what the game plan is and you have my full support and participation. We need a track for drifting, not just an oval ;)
