Nominate a announcer for the Homestead DEMO!!

That's the problem with Henao. He's a driver so he won't be able to do it all the time. But maybe that day he can be a guest commentator and Locko can make sound effects and shit behind him. I'm going to vote on Tim.
 
i agree with tim on everything he said. i may not be AS knowedgable but i do know most of the drivers off of the top of my head, along with nicknames, car setups, even background on some of them.
 
why not just do two announcers? emil can do the backgrounds and hype ups, while ben can criticize on the runs. just an idea.
 
Two announcers is fine, What the tryouts is for is to see if someone can do it permanently, not just for Homestead but for countyline too. It would make things more interesting and would educate anyone in the crowd that's not familiar with the cars or the drivers or the sport.
 
I voted for Juan right now but ill be cool to have Ben and Juan :bigthumbu and i wouldnt mind doing the sound effects!! LOL

Yeah I announce like an a-hole at desoto events....because its desoto events. I cannot stress this enough.

My announcing matches venue / situation. Im coming down for homestead this weekend and yeah Ill do it up pro style...no bs or drunken antics.

So lets get this straight:

awesome venues / events: pro

desoto (etc): mario sounds, horse song, meatspin


oh and to toot my own horn:

Annoucing gigs: NOPI Ohio/NJ, ClubFR DDay Road America, D1GP Chicago (during downtime), TerTech Fairgrounds/Orlando, etc, etc.

u should deff be on the mic... and u guys should put 1 in my car so I can talk to u guys as drifting happens.

Now that's a foken idea. Have some random ass hot chick get in a car as a passenger and try to sing her favorite song on a wireless mike while the driver drifts the shit out of the car. No need for sound effects there.
