wow... first off your getting jail time, no doubt about it. you should get your mom to look after your daughter, do your time, and look into quitting the ganja. then you should look for a shit job after you get out because you wont get that good of a job with a record.

the moral of this story is "dont buy weed in bulk". and "dont count on your mom to know when your court date is." as for a lawyer i cant help you.

Alex leave it be like I said before I smoke everyday and don't have a problem.....it's ur choice to do it or not....I have a 2 yr old son live on my own and iam 20 yrs old. Life wouldn't be fun without risk...like street sliding ur taking a huge risk doing it and that's one of the reasons u do it...but for the OP just serve ur time have ur daughter watch over by ur mom and then when u get out don't go striaght back to smoking 247 get a decent job save up some money get ur life striaght then if u have the time and spare money go back to smoking just go turn urself in they will give u a huge break
 
Lawyer plus $3500 and you will get probation, rehab, and pay fine. Other than that you are looking at 30 - 60 days in jail.

The lawyer will get you "Pre-trial Intervention" which is a beautiful thing. Everyone gets one as long as its not a serious felony. But a public defender will not give you such an option as they would rather see you in the system.

Your life should be your child not partying and being with your friends because as a matter of fact you did choose to have a child so young by fucking some female who is no longer present without protection which is dumb in and of itself because you weren't married to this chick and bitches have diseases. You don't want your dick to fall off dude. Call DrumFunken's lawyer and do the necessary time but learn from this shit and I hope you make your Daughter's life better because of this experience.
 
i have an issue with the pot smokers saying that they smoke all the time and its fine. I agree that its fine. I've done it before but i choose not to on a regular basis. We arent trying to say that pot is a horrible horrible drug. We are trying to say that its illegal so he shouldnt do it because of the risk of getting caught and being taken away from his daughter OR his daughter taken away from him.

because seriously, 18yr old getting arrested for a drug charge. you better believe child services might look into that. Its not responsible in the sense that you might loose the kid. Thats what people are tryin to say.
 
Your opinion on marijuana is duly noted, but that's not the argument, nor the reason us "pot heads" where mad. Everyone is ragging on the guy, calling him a bad father and saying his daughter should be taken away from him because he made a mistake. They don't know him, or the situation that he and his daughter are in. That's like saying your car should be taken away, forever, because you got caught street racing or sliding ONCE, for the first time. Now do you understand? Then you have stupid people that don't want to talk about the subject, instead they just come and force there narrow minded views on everyone, and make jokes about the guys unfortunate circumstances. This is not a debate on weed, it's a debate on how to treat people when they are down. You don't kick them, you help them up.
