^^^you say about weed, "its not that bad" but thats not what we're talking about. we're talking about the fact that it is illegal and a felony to have the amount of weed he had. Since he has a daughter, he shouldnt be participating in risky behavior like that (risky in the, 'youre gunna be arrested' sense)
yea, you are still young, and you didn't want a child, but in my eyes, the weed is mistake number 2. Unprotected sex, and then the weed. Sounds like you may be making a few more bad decisions than just the one. And since you do have a kid, you can keep being a kid. even though it was a mistake, you have to grow up and be responsible. Or, I agree you maybe should put her up for adoption.
Go turn yourself in. I don't know much about felonies and jailtime, but I want to say its 3-6 months jailtime. But you are still young and since you don't have a record, you can probably just go to court and admit you did something wrong and you might get something shorter with community service like someone said and probation.
Maybe use all this to try and quit smoking. you're certainly going to be away from the stuff for a while. Use the jail time to think about your life and where youre going and make some changes for the better and for your daughter.
as for lawyers, I don't know if there is such thing as a "cheap lawyer" to begin with. But, isnt there a way to have a lawyer supplied to you? I don't know how all that works, but I'm sure if you went to turn yourself in you can ask about finding a lawyer. I don't think they're about to throw you in court without one if you ask about it.
