im not hating, im just saying that 8 is the only appealing photo
But you say it so matter of fact instead of phrasing it like an opinion. I also like 8 a lot out of these 10 but no one else has said that they like it so far. I've actually had more people that liked 1 more than the rest. Even though it is one of my lesser favorite pictures it goes to show you that different people have different opinions so you can't just say the rest aren't worthy because apparently to other people they are =]
See^ lol

thanks man

10 n 6 look really good
The rest r pretty good to, but I don't like looking a a car drifting from the back, I enjoy pictures from the front better

But good shit frank

Nice pics really feeling 2 and 6
Thanks
looking good FAL, I like all of them
Thanks bro

Thanks/ Yeah I know what you mean, it just seems like the angle I was at the pictures looked better of the back of the car.

I love the vid also how do you keep the cars so in focus.
Panning, slow shutter speed and just following the car. It's been a long time since I had shot an motorsports event so I started the day with 1/125th of a second just to get some motion blur and more successful pics and then I started going slower and slower and got down to 1/40 for a couple of shots at night but stayed between 1/50 and 1/80 most of the time.

judge how fast the cars are going and divide it by 2.

if they are going 60mph then use 1/30th etc.

The rule of thumb I've always heard is to pan at the same speed as the car is moving (60mph = 1/60th). You can achieve the motion blur just by panning with the car and shooting at 1/125th or faster. If you can go slower then props, but it isn't necessary to go that slow. Some kid showed me a pic from someone on his phone that he looked up to that would shoot at 1/5th.....that's just nuts in my opinion but maybe if I continue to shoot motorsports events and get the panning down again I can do it too. It's all about practice. This is my first event since D1 so it's been a while.
