well its come time for my second headgasket job :/
the first time was a disaster (cheapo ebay gaskets), but this time im trying to have it last for longer than a month
so far ive got the head at new jersey auto for machine work (resurface and valve job), i have a new felpro head set and a toyota oem headgasket. i was thinking of doing the front and rear seals but im just feeling too lazy to take off the tranny and crank pulley :/. i really should though
i guess i should be doing rings and honing the cylinders blahblah but the thing is im leaving for college in a couple months so i dont want to be dumping too much into this thing when im prolly gonna leave it here or sell it.
is there anything im missing here or any advice from u veteran engine builders?
btw another weird thing is that i drained the coolant, but theres still coolant sitting in the waterjacket...lots of coolant. im pretty sure this isnt normal..any ideas?
engine is a 4age bigport
