WEll before i bought my 240sx the old owner of it had a crazy *** setup on his sohc ka24e on the 240sx i own now, i know it may sound stupid. But it was crazy. He had shaved the head for super high compresion and rebuilt the head and port polish the head, and retarded the timimg. He advanced all the timing and firing of the spark. He then rebuilted his tranny for shorter gear ratios for fast pick up Which the tranny is still on the 240sx i bought from him. He also had a 2.5 custom pipe and CAI. With all This Trouble he claimed 202 hp and 187 torque with the compression at 12.1 something like that. One day he was driving it and decided to push the car all the way to its limits and in the end the head blew. Where all the fluid vomited out. He rebuilded the car again with a new stock head. That was when i found my 240sx running like a Phaggat and idling like a CARberated Hot rod, He losted all his money in building this car so he sold it to me. FOr 800.00$ no rust but the front chassis was mess up pretty bad. I was happy. An all i could think of was a SR20det in this beast. But when i thought really hard i wanted to recreate the monster but witha ka24de hybrid.......Sohc block on the dohc head, shaved head and port polish it, Fearrii vlavles and springs, JWT ecu, JWt cams and camshaft, ETC........... In my opinion i know it will cost more than a Sr20det...But i want to be different and show what this ka24de could do all motor on teh track and the streets. This will be a new start for my dead 240sx..............
