Woops, forgot that was the one main reason (The difference in weight) I decided I would get a chuki/s13 over a kouki/s14 about month ago.

I've been giving a lot of thought as to what car to buy whenever I can. My wife and I are plaining on buying a house before the end of the year since they can be had at very very low prices as a consequence of the current economic state, but my excuse to buy a 2nd car before the house would be getting a 2nd job, in which case I would "Have" to buy one, since she goes to school in the mornings.

if I don't "need" to buy one in the next year, I provably would wait and buy this (IF It comes out ):

I think lighter is better, specially for economy.

This thread is great since I am in the same position as you hankyjackz :). Hopefully you get your car soon.

I'm looking to buy stock as well, but the only problem is that i've only seen 1 stock s13 coupe for sale in like the last year haha. Should of jumped on it too since it was literally 5 minutes away from my house.

Those links were great by the way.

the best way to go is to jus buy a clean cheap one and build it because trust me you end up with way more problems with one thats already built. im having that problem now my 240 was KAT and one point and now my cars screwing up like crazy. so i say buy a cheap on and since you dont know much about cars i suggest since you'll save money by buying a cheap one to take a class at cc on mechanics its cheap and you learn alot plus you can always go to forums for help.
