I bought it because I've been playing the game since High School, and figured why not just buy the full version after playing it for so many years.
I don't have a fancy steering wheel as much as I'd love one. I use the mouse to steer, left click for accel, and right click for brake. The rest of my controls are on the keyboard such as space bar for e-brake, c for clutch, and a/z to shift up or down.
You can still set the options to clutch automatically if you want to.
