not ragging on him, he just does crazy shit though and gets mad when I'm str8 up with him lol... told me to eat a dick and hes had 99 problems since then
lol what kind of "crazy shit" do i do? If i have a problem with my car that i cant figure out myself, and cant find anything helpful or specific enough on google, i see if anyone here has had the problem, and if they have a solution, or a better alternative, thus saving me the headache. Some people actually help, and other people just talk shit, which can be pretty fucking funny, admittedly.
The only things i see from you is though is stupid shit like "bro, boost leak? give up on cars, omg bra another problem? give up already, your friend stripped a bolt in your engine? wowwww, give up on cars" etc. Your like the annoying kid in the group that has to talk shit about everything.
If your being straight up when you tell me to give up, thats nice. I'm being straight up when i tell you to eat a dick. Also, i havnt had any problems with my car since then, so i would work on your counting skills.
Some people have better luck than others. Ive had shittier end of luck with this car. Does it stop me? not at all. True, i dont know nearly as much as some people on here who grew up around cars and have been doing this their whole life, but i take the problems as learning opportunities and fix them, instead of getting all flustered about them and giving up like a lot would do, or like you suggest.
back to the OP, depending on how far the car is from getting running and how clean the actual car is, you may or may not have gotten a good deal. From the one picture you posted, the body and paint looks clean, and the wheels are decent. If the interior is clean, chassis miles are low, the car doesnt have rust, and doesnt have any random damage, then worst case scenario you got a clean and complete shell with nice wheels for $900, with a ka on the side to either build or sell. You can pick up another complete KA for about $300, which isnt much.
If you dont have passion for the car, i wouldnt waste the time and money into it, cause that will most definatley happen. But if youre determined to drive the car and go from there, then by all means go for it. Youl end up being more knowledgeable in the end, and slowly by slowly, little problems with your car will be less intimidating. Good luck
