i know alot of rx7s do it...but for that much money i would just dump it into the 13b that it comes with....and if i wanted a domestic motor id buy a domestic car!!!...but dont get me wrong i think its dope but i personally wouldnt do it....ROTARY FTW!!!!
 
also because for a lot of people, rotary = fail, a friend of mine just finished a Ford 5.0 v8 swap into an FC after blowing up two rotary motors. He is much happier with the car now, even though its not an LS1, still very reliable and powerful.

But dont worry, the same things have been done to german cars as well, I have seen domestic v8's in 944's, 968's, 914's, 911's, BMW's, Beetles, and other shit.

Just go to the conversions & hybrids section over @ ls1tech.com ... it's full of converted imports/domestics with lsx's.

Small, light weight, good power, reliable, easy to get, largest aftermarket ever, and not expensive. LSx's just make more sense.

Just to let you know, LS1 weighs less than then KA24, and makes more than double the power. How can you go wrong? I'd rather put my money into that than a rotary or SR20.
 
Where did you see that an lsx weighs less than a KA? I'm not sure that's entirely accurate. Either way, with the transmission, there's no way that's possible.
 
yeap lation habino is right i belive that the KA motor alone wieghs more than the ls1 motor and tranny. i have seen these numbers its fucking crazy.
