#1: Erick, its easy for you to say that youd fix your car yourself if you could, but see, your car is old, its easy to get cheap, used parts, my car is expensive, new, and a lexus. Im not trying to sound like a snob by saying its a lexus, but its true, everything is really expensive for my car. You tell me where I can get cheap, used parts. Or better yet, find my car at a junk yard without the prices on everything being similar to dealer pricing for ****.
I wasnt not going to get the insurance involved, I had no choice. So stop belittling me about it. The door that I have to replace is the equivalent to my deductable: $500. I cant go to a junkyard and find an IS door for alot less than that. My damage came out to $4000, thats like 5 times the amount of your car, Erick, so dont tell me that you wouldnt get the insurance involved if you were in my situation.
#2: Guillermo, even proffessionals start out on the street. And so did you. So dont tell me that I need more time on the track. Everyone here has crashed. Some many times. Its a double standard.
So why now when its me, its almost like everyone is subliminally implying that Im a girl, cant drive, and am not able to gain experience, and that I dont know what Im doing because I drive an expensive car and got the insurance involved. If any one of you were in my situation, Im almost positive the response from most of you would be like "welcome to the club man" or "aw that sucks, you know what that means, new parts!". But now, since im a girl, i automatically cant drive and now that im getting aftermarket ****, most of you are responding to me in a condescending manner. Its rediculous.
You know what, a few of you were nice and mature about it, and I thought the rest of you could understand since you have been in the same position, but no, i guess i expected too much from you. Thats fine. Im done.
