Gas Strike on May 2nd

If u look at china 10 years ago, 50% or more of the people used bicycles. Nowadays they got more cars on their roads. If they wanna raise gas prices its all good.....AS LONG AS OUR JOBS PAY US MORE! I hate this because if gas goes up then EVERYTHING goes up. I remember paying 89 cents for a 20 oz coke now i gotta pay 1.39:mad: WTF is that bullshit?! You would think that with higher gas prices that there would be less cars on the streets but its weird how more cars will just appear on the road once the price goes up. And as for Iraq, if we killed their leader, why cant we just take their oil? I mean who is gonna stop us? Saddam?:laugh: O well i guess we just gotta live with this because there is nothing we could do about it
 
a bike would be a great alternative! if there wasnt that 50/50 chance of me getting smeared on side of 595 because of some stupid doush..thats the only reason i wouldnt get a bike :( Ive seen some SCARY shit on the highways.. I have to drive 30 mins. to work almost everyday..I have free access to octane booster:D but still..id have to use it every week, so i can make 90 octane..for
3.69 a gal :(
 
If you guys want the gas companies to lose money everyone should start taking the bus. But nobody wants to do that because the city bus sucks and it takes long as hell to get where you want to go. Thats the way to drop gas prices but nobody will do it so why the hell is everyone complaining about it. Get a motorcycle, bike, metro rail, or walk.

My standpoint is everyone is a hypocrit on this gas situation they preach that gas is too high and we should stop paying for it, yet they pay for it everytime they fill up.

I think prices are to high too but I pay it and I don't really care because driving is necessary. I'm not scheming to make the gas companies more poor. That's called jealousy you guys are mad because they are good business men and making ridiculous money. If you don't like the prices get off your asses and start making enough money to pay for it without it putting a dent in your pockets.

What's the point in protesting for gas here, if you guys will still be going to Walmart supporting all of the shit they buy straight from China, giving them the clear demand for gas to be used in transportation, manufacturing and electricity?

Time to harden the f*ck up, give up the gas guzzlers, and move to hydrogen for commuting. Oh, and ethanol is a stupid solution for the problem as well.

PS: I have owned a Ninja 250 for over a year. 70mpg is great, but the bike hardly is. It's beyond unsafe on the highway with traffic. Great to ride around in-town though. And it does save my ass in instances like this weekend where I have been blowing out tires on every single car I touch. Full sidewall separation from the rest of the tire on the turbo car and on the 740i.

Yea i totally agree, but the new 250R has alot different specs, 4more hp, better brakes better suspension a couple other things they have done alot compared to the old 80s looking one. 600 cost WAY to much and are way to fast for my 2nd bike i know ill kill my self, i want something i can man handle.

Grow some balls... get a bike... Take SR84 lol... I'm getting one as soon as I pay off all of my other debts, I don't need another bill to make me more broke than I already am...

But they are making ridiculous money cuz they know they will profit off of us cuz we will pay for gas even though we all complain. They know that we rely too much on oil products to not buy them.
 
I wont fill up!! ... in any case that is why i bought my bike a 650 brand new for 4,500 usd :)

simply stop eatting out, buying fancy clothes, drinking sodas and drink water instead and that will balance everything out.

economy sucks right now...you can't expect to operate the same like when the economy was healthy

Lets just see how this strike goes...i say they should make it like two days to make it at least noticeable. One day goes by quick.
 
i'm swapping the 3 cylinder diesel from the smart and using bio fuel.

well i pump at 87, right now its at 3.65 i got the other day a full tank for 35 dollars it use to be less a few months ago

i agree, there are other options but if you dont want to ride a bike or a bus to work then pump gas into your car. when your approaching a red light dont race to get there just let go of the gas and start slowing down this helps your mpg. then when the light turns green dont floor it, take off slowly again this helps too. who cares if the ppl behind you are pushing you to hurry up, move out the way if possible, but remember no one else is paying for your gas. when you are at the pump dont let the trigger pump the gas for you, press the nozzle a quart of the way.
