FIRST: 50mm

I just picked up a Canon 50mm 1.8 II. Got home a snapped a quick photo of Ninja, whom hates cameras. More to come.

What Blur are you talking about? Her face looks pretty sharp on my screen. due to the F/Stop @ 1.8 the Bokeh makes just about everything else soft/blur

that 50 at 1.8 is soft, well most 50's are

only way to be sharp at 1.8 is if you have a 1.2, or 1.4

For $70 you can't beat them though.

Pick up a 85 f1.8 you'll love it.

Looks good. He probably just wanted the whole shot to be clear, but there's not really a good background so the blur worked great.

Ya I picked it up for $60, not a bad deal at all. I'm looking for a 85mm & something wider maybe a 30 or 24... Still looking around..

People swear by their sigma 30mm, but then again not alot of people hate on the 50f1.8 except for the build quality and AF.

Only primes I'd own would be a 85 and a 300.
